“Network – Tell everybody. Don’t be embarrassed to admit that you’re unemployed and looking for a new “opportunity.” (Notice, I didn’t say I was looking for a job.) I wasted 2-3 months early on hedging my bets about “who to tell.” Use “Linked in” and alumni resources to network. Have your “elevator speech” down cold.
